1x EZ Saucer Protector – (Clear or glow in the dark) Original design, precision created from a durable plastic composite for strength, flexibility, and long-term protection.
Protect your most fragile and difficult to remove playfield plastic in the game —without the teardown.
The saucer shot on Galactic Tank Force is one of the most vulnerable areas of the upper playfield, airballs will eventually crack this plastic along the leading edge or on the lower corner. Replacing the original plastic is a painfully complex task—requiring removal of under-playfield components, diverter coil assembly, cutting zip ties from wiring harnesses, and extracting multiple top-side posts and screws.
That’s where the EZ GTF Saucer Protector comes in. This drop-in solution installs in minutes with a slip in fit. You don’t need to remove the existing plastic—just loosen, lift, and slip this protector into place — no full disassembly required.
Install Instructions
- Remove Phillips screw & nut on the bottom of the plastic,
- Remove right side mid screw (on the ball gate) and pivot gate out of the way
- Lift plastic and slip in the EZ protector and reinstall hardware (If you had a plastic washer I recommend you install it on top of the plastic to sandwich it between the new protector and washer)
Note: If you need more flex to get the lower edge of the plastic, there are two screws at the top of the plastic that are easy to get to and can be loosened.

I saw this listed and figured I had no need for it, but in my 2nd week of owning GTF, the ball smacked that plastic a couple of times, and I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. An easy install. Recommended!
